I only attended the very last day of the HPCC conference on Friday. My plan was to attend on Thursday as well but thanks to a nice foggy Gatwick my flight was delayed for 3 hours!
In any case this was the first HPCC conference and you could see that. The organization wasn’t the best I’ve seen and the presentations were very short (15-20 minutes) and of average quality -at least on Friday… There were some presenters that couldn’t even speak English!
Anyway, the conference site was really nice and so was the food. It was an interesting experience in any case and hopefully the conference will get better and better every year…
I may upload a few photos from Sorrento within the next days. Till then, you can have a look at my presentation (which is not much different from the EuroPar one apart from the title :-)) and the published paper
