Brief weekend break to Berlin to see Parov Stelar live last Friday (19th October) at Collumbiahalle. We looked a bit outsiders since we did not constantly carry a bottle of beer in our hands, but other than that great gig, very entertaining show.Get a glimpse of it below with “Matilda” and “Jimmy’s Gang”.

“Fear” as performed by Project Pitchfork last night in Islington Academy.

Totally mind blowing live set from Combichrist at Slimelight -yeah yeah that was two weeks ago but I didn’t have time to upload anything as I was in Japan for a week… Enjoy a brief part from “Today I woke to the rain of blood” and some photos as well

A quick one to list up the interesting gigs I have spotted for October. As always, the period immediately after summer is very exciting in this respect, and this October is no exception. So here we go in date order:

Happy Birthday ClubAC30: 5 years of shoegazer, post-rock, electronica, and experimental music -of the highest quality! I have personally spent lots of magic moments since I first “discovered” ClubAC30 back in May 2005. So here is a small sample of them in no particular order.

Industrial dance at its finest! That was Revolution by Night and Covenant last night at Electric Ballroom -with a short and slightly irrelevant stint from Mesh in between. Enjoy “Like Tears in the Rain” from an amazing night!

APOP’s last album was a disappointment. That much is for sure. Nevertheless, their previous appearance in London was very enjoyable, they kept their industrial looks and performance, and threw in a good mix of their old goodies and their newer stuff. Last night’s gig though, further consolidated their move away from their innovative dark past and into the more conventional, more popish path -unfortunately. For example see their outfits -they look like the Killers or something!

Another trippy night yesterday at Luminaire, organized once again by ClubAC30. The Domino State and Air Formation (preceded by the Flowers of Hell) provided the soundscapes this time, with Robin from ClubAC30 at the decks in between the bands.
