How science reporting works…

This is something very unusual I’ve never seen it before! One believer was trying to make a photo of the sunset when he noticed a very unusual light on the left and started recording it. It was an Angel taking the soul of one man – when they went to that building one man had really died! Have a look!” I did have a look, and I don’t see any angels. Instead I see something else…

Is it me or xkcd comics become more and more obscure? Paul Erdos would give out monetary prizes to whoever would provide solutions to unsolved mathematical problems. Are those students in the comic trying to claim their prizes? Anyone with a better explanation?

I though with the Easter and all, this is a very relevant post :-) There is this guy, a radio show host at Wretched Radio, Todd Friel. He seems to be a devout Christian that takes the bible at face value. He also likes to play games, namely, “what if” games, where a guest is asked to play along in hypothetical scenarios that Todd creates. The scenarios you will listen to, are based on biblical fairy tales, like “what if the god has actually created you, wouldn’t he then have rights on you?” and other kinds of such fantasies -nevermind the fact that Todd himself really believes these stories.

The Typealyzer post provided quite some fun, especially when a reader, “sciencebitches”, posted the results for Pharyngula, PZ Myers chart-topping science blog. Apparently, PZ came out as a Mechanic

I guess this is one predictable result: Typealyzer analyzes the text on one’s blog and spits out a result outlining the writing style and the potential personality of the writer. Guess what I came out as?

This just goes to show the stupidity flowing freely within religious organizations such as the American Family Association. Their decoration ideas for Christmas include a large Christmas Cross with 210 lights attached to it, that looks like this
