A year ago I got one of the happiest emails ever! It read:
Dear all
I am pleased to announce that following a successful viva today (5/11/07), Stavros Isaiadis has been recommended for the University of Westminster title
of Doctor of Philosophy for his thesis “Dynamic service aggregation for integrating mobile and limited devices into hybrid grids” subject to minor amendments and corrections being made to the thesis.
My congratulations to Stavros for his excellent work and presentation.
This morning, a whole year later, I attended my graduation ceremony -since I narrowly missed last year’s…
Fortunately enough, I was the only PhD graduate, went last on stage, and received some very moving rounds of applause (mainly because half of the other graduates used to be my students at some point :-))
Stay tuned for short videos from the ceremony!
