		<description>I'd like to say that it's simply that they're not rational or intelligent. But that doesn't cover all the cases. Maybe the intelligent ones only have selective intelligence.

There are so many crazy things that people sincerely believe in; it beggars belief.

I find it extraordinary enough that people believe in God; but Uri Geller, crop circles, UFOs, ghosts, homeopathy - what is going on? It must be aliens beaming these thoughts down to us. Where's my tin hat?</description>
