I fell down from laughter when I saw this! I do not know if it is true (well, judging by the name of the website: “Unconfirmed Sources“) but it certainly is funny! Sylvia Browne is a well know celebrity psychic/medium woo woo. Check out what (supposedly) happened to her!

[Sylvia] Browne [was] chanting in an attempt to contact Perry DeAngelis. DeAngelis, the popular Skeptic and critic of Brown passed away in August of 2007.

and while she was trying to contact Perry:

the lights dimmed, a blast of hot wind filled the room. While the attendees looked for the source of the disturbance, a heavy object apparently struck Brown fracturing her skull

Analysis of the video tape revealed a ghostly image of a monkey with a birds head. The creature is seen hurtling an object at Brown before fading back into the darkness

A monkey with a bird’s head?!? If that is not funny then what is?!? Let me write this again in case you missed it: a monkey with a bird’s head, the temporary incarnation of deceased Perry, threw a brick onto Sylvia, a well known (fake) medium while she was trying to contact him! Well, Sylvia, it is obvious to me that skeptics hate you even when they have passed away!

It sounds a lot like a nicely directed publicity trick to me. Although it would be fun if someone actually did throw a brick onto Sylvia’s head -probably a pissed off member of her staff, highly unlikely to have been Perry… By the way, why did the lights dim? And why a monkey? I really cannot get this last part.. A monkey? With a bird’s head? Oh well, moving on…

The medical staff that examined her had this to say:

Sylvia Browne is in critical but stable condition. It is the opinion of the staff that Browne will survive but we can’t guarantee that her psychic ability will return

Ha ha ha ha ha! Her psychic ability might not return! Oh what a shame… I hope she has already made enough money conning people.

In any case, why can’t they leave Perry rest in peace?
