God is an Astronaut… it is not just their music. It is their visual show as well. Or mainly. It doesn’t matter… The combination has proven to be explosive.

I was speechless the first time I saw them. I was speechless again last Tuesday when they also played songs from their new album. Strong political messages enveloped in their musical journeys, comprised of clear drum patterns, very dynamic guitars and a crying whisper that comes out of the Irish frontman.

They pick one out of the many black pages of modern human history, and create the soundtrack and video clip for it. Remembrance day: an almost documentary video on the second world war (?). Suicide by star: personality decay leading to live suicide… Fragile: the brutal manipulation of the animal kingdom by humans. And it goes on…
